What we collect

When you book or write to us, we collect your name, email, phone number, and your booking details. That's it.

Why

To manage your reservation, talk to you about your stay, take payment, and keep the records our accountant and the tax authorities require.

Who handles it

Most of it lives with the platforms we use to run the business: Hostaway, our reservation system; Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com if that's where you booked; and Microsoft 365, where our email is. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We report lodging revenue to local tax authorities as required by law.

We don't sell your information. We don't share it with anyone who isn't directly involved in your stay.

Marketing

We don't run mass marketing campaigns. If we ever email you about something other than your booking, it'll be because you asked us to, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

How long we keep it

As long as we need to for your booking and for tax records.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@thealembica.com and a person will answer. If you're in California or Europe, you have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR, and the same email reaches us.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to keep the booking process working. Nothing more elaborate than that.

Children

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Bookings are made by adults.

Alembica is a small, family-run hospitality business; it may take us up to 24 hours to reply.
